Gonna try something new here. What I will try to do from now on is make this post and copy and paste it everytime this thread turns a new page so it will be fresh on top of each page. Remember registration always closes 1 hour before the race start time.

Ok here is a little change of pace so listen up. Come get your racing fix this Sunday the 25th at SCR because on the following weekend(April 1st) we will be taking the weekend off. Instead of running on the first I would urge all racers to join Team SCR at Tri-City Raceway in Morgan City for their Cypress Sawmill Money Race. I have already heard that we have a bunch of racers going and it will be a fun outing for our racers to support Nick at his track. Nick has been racing at SCR and is a member of our club as well. Let's wear our SCR club shirts and represent! I will have the rest of the shirts that I owe our members at SCR this Sunday. We also have a limited number of extra shirts for people who still want to join so they will be able to get their shirts on the spot. We have both colors in sizes from M to XXL. laracer.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=722&page=1

Good job Alvin!! Is all classes money classes? For those who might be hesitant to race the money class. LBR This Sunday at SCR, the nitro buggy class only will be a money race. Not sure what Nick will be doing next week at Tri City but I believe all classes will be a money race there. Always makes it fun!

Wish the B main was longer than 8 minutes. Even sportsman get a 10 minute main. And with a 20 minute nitro main shouldnt the electric guys get 2 10 minute Mains to be fair??? I am not trying to complain I am just wondering. I think we could make 10 minutes, I never liked the 2 -10 minute main.. Its more track time but its hard to keep track of who's winning.. Just my opinion

Wish the B main was longer than 8 minutes. Even sportsman get a 10 minute main. And with a 20 minute nitro main shouldnt the electric guys get 2 10 minute Mains to be fair??? I am not trying to complain I am just wondering. I can put the Sportsman main to 10 minutes without a problem. Please remind me on Sunday. As far a "being fair", racing isn't always fair. I run races according to the feedback I get from the racers. The race lenghts and numbers were discussed at the last club meeting and I got TONS of positive feedback on the way races have been run. Just look at the turnout. When time permits I run AA mains, sometimes nitro gets longer mains and sometimes shorter. It's just the way it is. I can honestly say I have always gone with the flow on how I run races. There may or may not be AA mains in the near future, it just depends on the majority. Also remember this, the points series had AA mains and $20 entry fees and was definately not as popular as our Club races(judging by turnouts). The last 3 club races has 42, 49 and 56 entries while the biggest turnout for a points race was 49 at the finalle. With all this being said I am always open to suggestions, feel free to mention them to me at the races. C yall Sunday!!!

FYI, there is some kind of trash festival going on at the bridge park today so if anyone has a chance to pass by the track from time to time today to check on it, that would be great. Our only worries is that kids would run all over it or ride their bikes on it. We as members have the right to kindly ask them to stop and get off of the closed track. If that doesn't work then Ronnie Mad had some kind of sniper idea.
