We don't race anymore by choice, but I log in daily to watch the Drama unfold on VLR thread. Its some funny sh&t
No drama on any of the other threads.
Just plain RC stuff
Just an outsiders point of view.
Have fun racing in Flowood,TX,LA,MS.
I would continue typing the remaining States for the entire country but its tough typing on this little keyboard.

Ok is this a race forum or a 4th grade convention. Please you guys are the first to cry and the last to cry when someone says something about your track! Go do what you want! Ill stay here and save my self some money to buy anther set of tires or two. The statement is true what's the big deal. GROW UP! This a Drama free Track everyone helps everyone and I don't need it and I don't want the Drama. Do What You Want! Bubba is a supporter of VL and he will have a good turn out tomorrow so go if you want and Good Luck! I'm not the only one who feels the tension and BS that no one has the balls to discuss on a forum much less face to face. You know who you are. You know what I'm talking about. This sport ebbs and flows for many reasons. Some of which will continue despite the history (indoor tracks with short lifespans: Redstick, Norm's, etc). You state "everyone helps everyone". What does that mean? Helps the sport of R/C racing? Helps VLR? Helps your personal interest? As far as a 4th grade convention, call it what you want. These past few posts would've have even been submitted had it not been for the "president" of VLR to post yet another BS comment. Lastly, no crying here. It's a shame we've reduced ourselves to ball-less keyboard jockies in not only this forum but all forums alike. Calling someone out who is being disrespectful is not crying. It's simply not letting the 4th grader continue with his childish, disrespectful ways. Want to help the sport? Take control of your track. Quit letting racers with no business sense make the rules and be your spokesman. Blaze a new trail. Stay open for more than a year or 2. Gain enough recognition as a serious track to increase attendance enough to substantiate the costs of improvements (knocking that wall out, expanding the track, etc.). Or do it the way your doing it. If you and everyone at VLR truly feels everything is fine and the doors will be open for years to come to support this hobby we love so dearly, why change now? |

Well is seems if you can't take a little (ribbing)then people shouldn't be sitting reading every word typed on the form. if everyone would get along the sport would grow.That being said I can speak for VL that you come down and race it is a fun time if you are 5 or 55.we will help you anyway possible to keep racing.

To start off. Jason no need to step down !! Nothing wrong with making a statement. I wouldn't want to make the trip up to flowood either for a club race, and there not be one.. Bubba and flowood is a great place, I can only hope the best for him and that track. To have the nuts talk between this club and that club is very silly, there is no reason why an rc lover can't enjoy the best of both worlds.. Scr great for nitro lovers, you can really open up the power, yes it is a bigger track, but vlr can also put on a great show and the biggest plus it's inside Guaranteed racing every day.. I do remember in the beginning of vlr 's opening, one weekend scr one vlr that was fine, but then it rained 3 weekends in a row, vlr opened every weekend so we could all race,and it just took over. I think some people don't realize vlr is a Business,hobby shop and weekend racing is a must, there are bills to be paid to keep the the track open. Scr does not have that Issue. No one is saying you have to run here or there, they both have members and non members who race at each place every weekend.vlr is a very helpful place to other racers and people who come and watch, next thing you know they bought a car and they to are on the track..this pissing match really does need to stop, scr has there Followers, vlr has there's . The one thing that does stand out.. I see src guys wearing there members shirts come to Vlr, and just rip the nuts out of scr, saying the track sucks its never kept up anymore and people are just thingying every time they race about something. Those are not my words, those are words out of a scr club member, maybe scr needs a club meeting, and find out if there is a problem there, I know Vlr is not scr's problem. Now I didn't disrespect any one or any club, if you have a problem with what I said, I'm not hiding behind this key pad my name is chad and I'm at Vlr open to close wensday- Sunday, I won't be hard to find.. Just enjoy your hobby,enjoy your Favorite track, it can't get any more Easier then that.. Leave the forum for rc talk , what diff oils to use what tires hook up ? Leave all other bullnuts at the door!!

Just to let everyone know I am not a member at any track !i race because I love the hobby !!!! Any thing I say on here is MY OPINION ! not VTL race way! So now everyone needs to put on there big boy pants and lets race!!!! ;D.
