We did start on the track last weekend the base is down. The rain stop us from working on it Sunday. It needs to be rolled some more by the 2 ton steam roller. Then we hope by next weekend we can roll it and start to put jump down and the pipe and roll it some more. Now the base will not hold water so we should be able race a lot more and have some real fun on the new layout ;D ;D ;D ;D

I will second that motion James. Club racing again. 6-8 Hours Max, Done, finish, home = Great times. I don't care what Hammertime40 saids ;D ;D. Devoted racer's or not, if your that devoted as some people claim to be, bring your azz out early and finish before the chickens get up the next morning. You don't need that much time to kick my azz. But thats just my 2 cents. PS: That also gives me plenty of time for spanked butt to rest the next day. ;D

Before you are allowed to post about racing you need to race more then once every two months ;)I've had fun racing club racing but a great time racing bigger races, more people equals more fun ;D Less hours racing, more time sleeping = more fun. I agree about the bigger races more people more competition. Doesn't mean its has to last all morning, all night, all the next morning. There's a lot of hobbies, sports, activities, s-x just to name a few. But none of them that people can justify those kind of hours. It's a great time catching up with your friends, just hanging out, bull sh-ting that you do before it just to much. People falling a sleep while driving, can remember how they made it home, thinking about just getting a hotel for the night for a club race come on. I'm not trying to be negative about it just posting my 2 cents.

BILLY,BILLY BILLY, GIVE UP YOU LOSE a lot of people don't have 6 hobbies so they love racing , lot of the tracks that we race at or 2 hours away so if we want to race we have to deal drive. enough about how long it that to race .LETS RACE we need to get the red shirt mafia back out racing !!!!

I hear you Mark, It's not just about the other hobbies I have and many others do as well. It's the true some people have others that look forward to seeing them at some point in a 24hr day Mark. Your Kids, wife's, family, other friends. I spended many of my years racing R/C car & trucks and something have change along the way, but one thing has not and thats time my brother. There's a line between having fun, hanging out, catching up. ;D This is not between just me and your opinions I was hoping some other people out there would have chimed in. Like I said in earlier post, just looking for some great racing in a 6-8 HR "day". NOTHING BUT LOVE MY BROTHER

;D I'm with mark . I like hanging out shooting the shizzit I mean why invest all that money in a hobby if were not going to hardly use the stuff. I myself try to make evrything I do family oriented. If we worry about time it becomes to much like a job to me. thats why we call them hobbies because they are things we enjoy doing so why worry about time if we are having fun. Hell Billy and I can stay on our jet-skies all weekend and not care about time because its something we enjoy doing. But to nip it all in the butt we all have our own opinions about things, so lets not worry about this and stay racing all night long if we want or for just 3 hrs on a wednesday what ever makes us happy.

If it ever quits raining us out. My thoughts are. :)Hopefully we will have a choice this year and some tracks will stay open if racers don't want to travel, stay up 20 hours for a weekly race,20 hours at a time for a big race, not remember the last part of a trip home at 3 to 4.30 in the morning, orhave to get a hotel for a weekly race.
