Hey all this is Chris, they guy out there last Sunday with the 1/16 revo. Had a blast playing arround out there. Wish there was a race class for the little guys like me! lol But now im wanting to get something to race with guys, need some help, what should I get? Any suggestions guys? I realy liked the 1/8 truggy's (I think thats what there called) best. But looking arround at those they seem quit steep on the price. What about a slash 4x4 Brushless? Would that be good to race with? Thanks

Thanks for the input man, how do you think the slash would compare with that? I realy like the Hot Bodies VE8 Kit but it would cost alot to build one.

I love the Slash 4x4 but you will have to spend some dough to make it close to comp.

Don't listen to dillards just kidding dillards. I have a stock 4x4 slash with no hop ups other than new tires and i love it. I can keep up with the jammins just fine, well at least till i wreck lol. But you don't have to hop it up if youdont want to

i think tires are a must and changing diff fluid and adding center diff and rear axles and a must is a kingheads bearing adaptor....so about 100 bucks and you will be close to bulletproof...but you can get a rtr for like 250

This dude was wheeling that 1/16th revo, so he should be a contender in any class he goes with.

Thanks, what would I be better off with in the end, the Jammin SCRT 10 or the slash 4x4? Or something else? I dont mind upgrading parts.

IMO, if you are going to spend the money go with the Jammin. You can get it ready to run off of www.nitrohouse.com minus radio and reciever I think for a little bit more money. The Jammin drives like a little buggy to me. Both are very fun but I have to give the performance edge to the Jammin.

IMO, you will have a better product with the Jammin in the end. See the results of the CORR Nationals and you will see what is dominating on the pro level. Driving is the biggest difference of all but the Jammin is easier to drive to me. I have drove both. Of course, my opinion is pretty biased to the Jammin. You wont be dissappointed with either unless maybe everytime you get beat by a couples of Jammin's you will rethink your decision.

Just so you know. The top 3 or 4 in the LARCC points are Jammins and the top 2 in the TX RCPro Series (which is very competitive) are Jammins.

Just an FYI, got bored yesterday and stopped by Hobbytown. He has CORR Calibers and bowties if anyone is needing some tires.
