Had a great time hanging out with some great friends. This race was a fun one. Looking forward to more racing like that. Great run to Mark, Billy, Bubby, Nathan, Johnny, Jason and Traig in the truggy class. Way to keep those race secrets from getting to me Bobby and Brian. I enjoyed taking out the trash. ;D

WOW!!! What a weekend it was. From the very beginning of planning,my goal was to make the Southern Nats one to remember.Of course there were bumps along the way during the planning stage, but with the support group I had, it all worked out just fine. As I stood in the back of the arena and watched peoples face when they walked through the door, all of the planning, sleepless nights, worries, stress etc became well worth it. To see the racer's reaction when they saw the driver's stand, the track and the arena was priceless!!! There is a group of guys I want to thank that I couldnt have done this without. Phillip Stringer,Jeff Grey,Steve Traxler Jr.,Matt "Puddin" Sistrunk,Mario Knox,Chad French,Bill Shepherd,Keith(RcBum) and ANYONE else who as much as even picked up a rake or nailed a spike down. Also want to thank Mr. Steve Traxler at Traxler Construction. Thanks to Morgan Buxton for singing our national anthem. It was an awesome way to kick off the event! A HUGE thanks to Paul for running such a tight race. I challenge anyone to find anybody better at what he does. Thanks to Steve Traxler Jr. and Josh Glancy for filling in for Paul when he had to go tee tee potty . Paul this is your official invite for next year. Ill be in touch with you. Thanks to Hitec and JConcepts for making the trip out and taking the time to set up booths. All of the guys in the lobby did a great job. the rock crawling club used the truck that Axial sent and let the public do some crawling. They loved it. I had a few members of the flying clubs say " man, this makes me want to start racing". My goal next year is to attact more vendors to provide for everyone. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to maybe attract more public next year also. Lastly and most important,I want to thank you guys, the racers. The support I recieved from you all was incredible.Ya'll did a great job on housekeeping and I thank you for that.I tried to make a point to talk to each of you.If i missed someone I apologize. Whats in store for next year?? I said I was going to take a few months off and relax, but Im already planning for the 2nd Annual Southern Nationals. My goal is to design another large flowing track, grow the vendors, and keep the same atmosphere that we had this year. I will do everything in my power to make it even better than the first!!! So,are ya'll ready? I have already booked the arena. The dates will be Sept. 9th - 11th,2011. Thanks again for making the 1st Southern Nats a success!!!!
See you all soon!! Im going racing

There was a tool box picked up(Im sure by mistake ) that belonged to Chuck Janke. It was a clear tackle box with all of his tools in it. The handles on the wrenches have JANKE on them. PLEASE look and see if you have Chuck's stuff. Let me know if you do so we can get them back to him.
