We are 63 days away! It will be here before you know it. The payments are rolling in and things are coming together. Make sure to get paid up ASAP so you won't be left out!
I have been getting alot of inquiries about pit tables(inside the arena), pit stalls(horse stalls), pit trailer spots & rv spots. Here's how each will go:
Pit Tables will be placed inside the arena against the walls next to the track. I will provide you an 8 foot table, folding chair and power within about 25 feet. You will need a power cord and power strip and you be all set. Last year, things got really dusty inside and some people chose to move outside. This year, we will be watering the track to prevent dust so it shouldn't be an issue. But if you choose to move outside, you can move right outside the rear overhead door behind the drivers stand. There is power back there, but you will need longer power cords. The cost for a pit table is $30.00.
Pit Stalls are located behind the arena under the roof. They are horse stalls so they smell like horse $h!t! But they do have gates and tall sides so that you can lock your stuff up if you would like. Just bring your own padlock. Each stall has power. I will NOT be taking pre-payments for these because there are 510 of these available. And we only rented 15-20 last year. You can pay for these upon arrival. They will cost $30 for the race weekend. This is what the facilty charges me, so I'm simply passing the cost along.
Pit Trailer Spots are located on the south side of the barn area. RV's and campers are NOT allowed to park here! It is against the facility rules. Power is available within about 50 feet. Caution: If you plan to run your A/C and your air compressors, please plan to bring a generator because the power is not designed for that much usage. We will be leaving enough room between each trailer to put a tent or vehicle so everyone won't be so crowded. There are only 15 of these spots available. These WILL sell out! The cost of pit trailer spots will be $30.00 for the race weekend.
RV spots are located west of the entire facility. There are about 100 spots so availablity is not an issue. They will be first come first serve for location. The difference in the best and the worst is not much distance. So do not worry about getting in a hurry to get a good one. Each spot has power, water & sewer. RV spots cost $20 per night. This is what the facilty charges me, so I'm simply passing the cost along. We will collect your money upon arrival. So when you arrive, pick a spot, setup and get ready to race.
If you have a self contained rv, camper, pit trailer or just a tent. You may park almost anywhere in the parking areas for free of charge. Locations will be first some first serve.
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL NOT reserve a pit table or pit trailer spot for anyone without first receiving your paid entry fees!
If you have any questions, please contact me at southernnats@yahoo.com.
See ya soon!

Is there a cost of setting up in the arena no matter what or are there places to set up with our own tables that is free?

25 days away! If you haven't paid your entries, you might want to do so ASAP.
I have decided that all indoor pitting will be FREE of charge. Where else can you pit inside an air conditioned building next to the track with plenty of room for everyone?! With that said, that means you will be responsible for bringing your own table, chair, power cord and power strip. We will try to keep everyone organized by keeping the tables lined up, etc. Locations will be first come, first serve.
Just a reminder, we will be watering the track throughout the day during all track activity. So the dust problem we had last year, will not be an issue.
See ya soon!
