Been wanting a nitro truggy but SCR doesn't have much of a nitro truggy turnout. This series may be a good time to buy a nitro truggy since there are quite a few at the other tracks. Maybe it's what SCR needs to grow interest in nitro as well. Get one Alvin, I'll even come over there and knock you off the track.

I had so much fun at the Cajun Classic that I am gonna use my truggy money to go to the Southern Nationals in October.

I would like to welcome FTW on board as a sponsor of SCR Raceway. They have sent us a banner to hang at the track and 5 bodies to be given away at our leg of the LACRC. John and Josh are both super nice guys and I believe anyone who met them at the Cajun Classic would agree.

Ok guys, Cajun classic is over and I think we all had a great experience and a great time. I hope all the excitement will carry over to our series and everyone can come out and have that same great time without having to spend quite as much money. Our first race is just a few weeks away so stay fired up!! Finishline is a great facility and they always put on a nice event. Until then, keep breathing the sweet smell of nitro!!..........and always put your lipos in a fire proof lipo bag when charging. Just ask jay bladen to explain why.

Guys, I hope everyone is ok from the storm. With that being said, I have talked to Cory about pushing the first round back 1 weekend to September the 15th. I know this will affect several people in good and bad ways and I apologize beforehand if you are one that is negatively affected. With the rain and damage that everyone has gotten, I know many will be trying to get there homes and yards back to normal and I don't want anyone to have to miss the race bc they are working on there yards. Again, this series is for everyone and we want the mAjority of our racers to be able to make it somewhat we can all have a great time! Thanks, Brady

I hear Cory has begun to work on the track for our first round of the series!! I know this is going to be a blast and the feedback I'm getting from others is really encouraging! I am fired up for some good ole fashion outdoor rough and tumble M2 compound, big pin tire, blown out track, engines running 3 hunday degrees and leaning her one more hour so I can get a little edge on my boy Reggie down the famous 200 ft straight at Finishline raceway!! Get your buckets ready and show up and have a blast!!!

Any tire will work, the track is not that hard on tires. What ever you are comfortable running will work.
