I had a great time racing the ebuggy sportsman class for the first time this weekend. Met some great people who helped me out a bunch, had fun racing, and didn't break anything. Can't ask for more than that! Can't wait for the next round.

had a blast guys thanks to everbody that helped me out especially joffery for sharing his tent, the guys next to me (sorry cant remember your names ) but I know there helping on the chalmette track, for helping me get that rounded screw out of my shocks. Thanks to Nola Rc for the install on my electronics I purchased from them and to the scr guys for the fun shortcourse racing. Anyway the results will be posted and is the 13th almost here I cnt wait

Had a good time also racing tve only 2wd out there lol I got pounded. But it was fun on the track geting dirty. Also had Murphy's law agast me. That day seemed like what ever could go wrong did. Ecs stoped working. Had to change it tire came unglued. Then had to leave early. Any ways whe is the next race ?

The next points race is Oct 13th at SCR in Destrehan. 1:00 start time as well.

How about adding a round at the new Victory Lane track and making it count for 1.5x's points. Would be a good way to help that track get started and make the series more fun.

The next race is upon us!! SCR has the new layout ran in nicely and I know they will put on a great race as always. I hope all the new faces that showed up at Finishline for round 1 will make it for round 2. Also hope thr die hards that missed the first round will show up ready to roll. The weather is looking great so clean those cars up from southern nats and let's do some club racing!!

+1 When i finished up at Southern I cleaned up my cars and got them ready for next weekend.
FTW has sent us 5 free body coupons for giveaways for this race as well.
Also since the Bladen benefit race has been rained out since Sept. 1st SCR will be doubling up and we will give the Bladens the majority of the entry money from this race. Also if you have anything you would like to donate to them they will be very appreciative. I have two gallons of fuel for them, i know Jamie has some items for them and Daryl Bunch has some items from some of the sponsors of the Cajun Classic for them.
Look forward to seeing everyone there!

One more thing, lets bring on the kids for this race. SCR hasnt had a big kids class in a while. The series has awards for the kids 1st thru 3rd place and SCR will supply the awards to 4th place on thanks to Adrenaline Hobby.

What time will the racing start on Saturday? I know the race in Lafayette started earlier than it was originally going to. Will this one start early as well?

I want to thank Ryan Lutz and Jeff Gray. After the Southern Nats Ryan Lutz autographed his Team Durango shortcourse body and gave it to Jeff Gray, who is going to mail it to me for this weekend to raffle off a generate some more money for the Bladens.
