Awesome no other way to said it. 70 entries 12 hrs to finish with 3 qualifiers and double A-main's, the race ran so smooth we all decide to turn the event into a one day race. The racing tonight was just great. Nitro buggy A- main with Chris Clark and Kevin McCoy was just awesome. Once again all of us from Victory Lanes want to thank everyone local and from out of town for coming. Congratulating to all the winners. VLR is off to a great start for the 2013 racing season.

I had a great time yesterday racing with some old friends . I had to work out some bugs in the buggy but I think I got it now just need a few more things$$.Other than that the program was ran smooth and the track was great!!So hopefully next time I won't have to wear the Mickey Mouse suit and Greg wear it lol

First of all I want to congratulate Duane and all the guys that have had a hand in working to open Victory Lane Racing. People that race r/c, in every city in the US, dream of having an indoor off road r/c race track and you guys have made that dream become reality. I think back to when we opened FRC and the excitement I felt when we had our first race. I would not take anything for being part of this first race at VLR. No one had any more fun than I did. Thank all of you for your hospitality and making me feel like I was at home. It was so nice to be able to be a racer and enjoy being with you for your Grand Opening Race. Thanks to Duane and all you guys that have worked many hours in putting together something that you will be able to enjoy for years to come. With the weather we live with in the South, everyone within a 100 mile radius of VLR is going to enjoy throwing your stuff in your car and being able to have a place to go when it rains for three straight weeks. Believe me I know. I encourage you all to support VLR with your time and money to make sure this facility thrives. You have no idea how fortunate you are to have this available to you, make sure you do everything you can to help Duane make this place grow. Unless you have run an r/c race track, you have no idea how much it takes to keep the doors open. An indoor facilily will be able to attract new racers into this hobby that an outdoor facilty will not. I assure you, it will benefit the hobby and all the other tracks in the surrounding area by having this fine indoor track.
Thank you all for making me feel like I was at home. I had a great time at VLR and more importantly, I had a great time with all of you guys. You coon-asses are lucky to have as many of you involved in the hobby as you do. It is what makes this hobby so good. Good luck and I can't wait to get back down there and race with you all again. Hope to see you all soon at FRC as well. I am always available to help with anything I can do to make R/C Racing better for everyone. Bubba

I know I had a great time yesterday. And from talking to everyone there the same was said. Like Mark said it was good to see some old faces around Joe D, Adam and anyone else I missed. Shout out to Bubba and his crew from Flowood for making this great event, come back soon.

Wow! Awesome race this weekend! Been gone for a while and like others said it was great to see everyone and get some racing in!! Facility is great and will without a doubt get even better with time. Duane and crew did an excellent job running the racing and keeping it fun. Thanks to the Cavins for the hospitality and the good times as usual!! Once again I ran my mouth and ended up dressing like Mickey Mouse but I definitely have the bug back to go racing!!! Hope to see everyone again soon and hopefully I can pick up the pace and keep up with everyone again!!
