From what i hear there is no race this weekend this weekend due to the points race on saturday?

The track should be open to race every weekend as long as the racers are there to support it. Race days should be on Saturdays unless there is a 2 day race. Sundays have always been family days. They have alot of us here that have been racing for 20+ years. I have never seen Sunday races. Times?  In my opinion I think they should start at 11:00 or 12:00 no later, because if there is a big turn out a 3:00 start will go deep into the am hours.......been there done that. |

PS: Scott, you ran a successful track in Chalmette for a few years before the storm hit. Is this info above from your experience first hand? Times? Day? Best turn outs? Ok due to the scheduling conflict we are canceling the race for Sunday. We will have a practice session Sunday and we will open at 10am. So to clear things up our next race will be the December 22 at 3( for the Saturday workers) and then our grand opening weekend January 4-6.
