I left around 12:45 and i think there was 2 rounds left. Its sad a facility like that who races so much gets so far off schedule and so lax about it with 21 rounds of racing.

Well I overheard "someone" ,and I am not going to mention names but its not to hard to figure out, telling people the reason the race started so late was because all the racers were not prepared with transponders and such.
Seems to me, not using the information on RCsignup and having everything wrote down on a piece of paper and waiting till the next morning to start putting them in the computer is what made the race start late.
p.s. the "someone" also called a "1minute" in a qualifier no less, and we stopped for 10 minutes. Huge problem with getting turn marshals to the track at this race, but that is something you see everywhere sometimes.

2 min between races. If youre not on the track, the race starts without you. I dont understand how some people that have 2-3 hours to get ready for their next race are holding everyone up because their stuff isnt ready.
2 min to get on the track to marshall. Youre not on the track, start docking laps.

2 minutes? Thats not near enough time to BS about the race and grab a slice of pizza lol. I dont wanba totally bust them guys out. But it really did suck and maybe seems easier from the outside looking in.. but just seems to easy to avoid.. why "sign up" is open for hours.. THEN people stand in a cluster F for another 45 to pay is wierd to me.

I dont think that I will be going back for a while. I wanted to go to the pro series race that got next year but as of right now I dont know if I will even go to that. Who knows what kind of mess thats going to be parking and pitting may be an issue at proseries.

With 170 entries they just could run a little tighter ship. Little to laid back between rounds is alot of it. The 2min clock was paused every round i looked at

I know Bubba checks the forum time to time maybe he can take some of the advise and use it for next time. Are even answer some of the comments given here.

Me, Jason & Greg S. had a great time seeing everyone like always and there track is just awesome. We left early and were okay with that going into it. It was for a great cause. Nothing on the line.

Listening to everyone's comments I see I made the right choice in not attending:-) I dont really want to make it like that. There could just be some things done differnt. I was told the jc clash was done by 10pm. Frc is a awesome facility and overall good group of people. They dont deserve a full on internet bashing lol, just Start on time and get things moving between rounds. Races ran past 1am.. and that was with dropping one round of qualifying. Thats no good. |
