Just got my Tekin Gen 2 6.5T for my B44.2. It's on this weekend. If I can just figure out what's wrong with the rear diff. It won't stay locked at my settings. The white plastic nut that's female threaded keeps backing out and becomes fully lose. Any suggestion on how to fix this issue, guys? The front diff is exactly the same and works perfectly. I've ordered a new plastic locking diff nut and screw. I guess I'll try that. If anybody has had this problem before, please let me know what's going on? Thanks! See y'all at the track! I hope! Hey Wes, I'm not sure but Jason Wendling are Rob Jensen probably could answer that question for you. You may want to send them a p.m message.

i think you may have the bolt that holds the rear diff together backward. make sure the head is on the right side.

I do have the bolt head on the right side. It's exactly on the same side as the front diff which is working perfectly. I think the plastic wing nut might be stripped. I ordered new parts and will use loctite this time. Both diff bolt heads are on the right side

Wes, the head of the bolt should be on the right side in the rear and left side on the front. You most likely have it backwards on the rear. Check and see if that's your issue. Also make sure your T-nut is fully seated, you can use a driver in between the nut and outdrive to help wedge it in fully. Then you should be able to get the bolt to bite down. This is looking from the rear with the wing facing you.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly how I have the diffs setup. I will check again to make sure. If it is correct like it should be, could the problem also be that I have the diffs in reverse? Meaning the back diff in the front and the front diff in the back? This might be impossible, but I'm just asking. Thanks guys

There is no was to put the diffs in backwards on a b44 as the diff cases have a tab to prevent that. However make sure you habe the thrust assembly on the short out drive with the spring and t nut on the other side. Also, make sure you compress the springs a few times before you build the diff as this will make the diff hold the settings better. It is normal for the diff to lose some of its tension in the 1st couple runs but if it is still doing it after break in the t nut or screw is probly stripped or broken.

Thanks Big Rob! No worries. I just received a whole new diff kit with multiple T-Nuts and diff screws. It will be fixed and ready to run Friday night at practice. I also have my Tekin Gen 2 and RS Pro system with the hot wire interface. I'll be ready to go this Saturday. Thanks for all the help guys. See y'all this weekend!

Hey guys. I was the only one with a 1/10 4wd buggy Saturday. Should I get a 1/8 scale? How many of y'all are going to be racing this class. If it's just gonna be, then maybe I should get a 1/8 scale? I'll probably get an 1/8 anyhow. What's y'all option on Brand for 1/8, Mugen, Associated or Losi?

Thanks J. I'm leaning towards the Mugen, but I'm worried they might come out with an MBX-7 electric version this year. Have you heard any rumors about them making the 7 into straight electric this year?

Wes, I should have my 1/10 4wd tomorrow. I'm hopeing to get it build for next Saturday to race it. Jason's right a lot of locals were racing in Flowood and others like myself were just taking care of other stuff. You can't go wrong with the purchase of a 1/8 scale buggy. Brand is going to be a personal preference, the major brands all have good and bad qualities. I'm partial to Losi myself.

I don't care for the Losi center cv joint setup. Other then that I love Losi cars. I've narrowed it down to the Mugen or Losi. Thanks y'all
