There is only one way to get faster and thats to run with faster people. Oh and I agree with you! I just think if you can make a sportsman class with true sportsman drivers than do it. The Grand Opening race sportsman race had more lead changes than any other race.

We may need to have some type of graduation to get someone out of the sportmans class to pro class like back in the days. If you are out there winning week after week in your class/group then you may need/are want to setup a class

i see what yall are saying about the sportsmen and expert class but do people of the caliper of jason or martin want to try to fight getting around someone of my skill level or better yet a real beginner or someone who is fresh on the track like my dad with a fast lap of 25.46 last time he raced?
i am all in for good racing and hate having to watch 3 car races but we dont want expert faster drivers or sportsmen drives geting upset

My post was more towards the sportsman/ pro class when there are only 8 cars total for the day. Or something where you have to run a 4 car sportsman race and 6 car expert class. Just combine them for a full heat. No volenteer marshals will be needed and you cut the racing day down. Expecially for friday night races.
Part of racing is also learning racers etiquette. Slower racers in qualifing heats should give the line to the faster driver as you are racing the clock and not the person behind you. Its something alot of the guys at the track do for the most part but there are some that do not know yet. Hell i still pull over and i have been racing for 20 years.

If there is only 10 drivers and 6 are sportsman we race one class on a club race. Sportsman is only at big races not at club races unless we get some rookie drivers to make up a race.
