Not sure if everyone has heard that Bubba Barham is organizing a "big" club race this weekend at FRC (in Flowood, MS). If you hadn't, you have now.
From talking and texting a lot of our local racers from both SCR and VLR, there seems to be a nice crowd from Louisiana heading up that way for this race.
Start time is noon, starting a little earlier then their normal club races in an attempt to get done earlier for our drives back home.
The layout is the one that was recently used for the Bring the Heat race a few weeks ago. A fun but challenging layout, from what I've heard from both Bubba and those who attended BTH.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a larger crowd to race with at club level entry fees.
See if you can make it. Get with other racers, and ride up together. Makes the longer drive seem like minutes when you get to talk R/C the whole way up and back.
