Hey Jimmy the alligator festival starts Friday right are we going to still be able to practice with that going on? Yes sir the festival is held on the Westbank side of the park so there shouldn't be any problem with that , If there is enough people wanting to race saturday night Jim gave me the ok to run it, All i need is a head count so post up if you want to race n we will make it happen !!

Dean, we do run a 1/10th scale class, which includes 2WD SC. 4WD SC used to be one of biggest classes at SCR. We just need to get everyone who has SC trucks to come back out and race. Until then, bring your truck. We'll find a place for you to race.

What's up everyone. I have not done any riding as I moved to Utah 2 years ago and have been addicted to Mountain Biking. Anyway I am back in Louisiana and will be for a while until I finish up with College. There are no mountains in sight I noticed,lol...so I want to get back into this hobby. I see that there are decent days for practicing posted here so I figured I would reply to this rather than creating a whole new thread. This is kind of a funny question but I have not raced or even rode my buggy or truggy for about 2 years now and I have since then lost the feeling for this hobby/sport all together. I was thinking about selling all my stuff but I have a feeling a will regret it if I do that. I think I am just not feeing l in the urge to do rc buggy because I simply have not done it in such a long while. Anyone had a similar situation happen and then all of a sudden as soon as you get yourself back to the track the excitement all comes back again? I will be waiting for the weather to cool down a little before I get out to the track so probably later this Month of October. I want to get that feeling of excitement again and smell the fumes of Nitro in the air again. I have a brand new Kyosho St-rr EVO all decked out with top of the line servos and a Bonito .21/OFNA 086 pipe...as well as my much beloved Kyosho MP9 TKI III nitro version (nitro is the only way for me) with the O.S. Xz-b .21V spec/O.S. T-2060 speed pipe on it which makes this buggy scream. I also have a brand new speed version .21 of the same engine but never used it as I think it is overkill for the 1/8 scale buggy especially riding it on a smaller track. The truggy has never been used and I cannot wait to break this bad boy in. I am just trying to make a point that I have all this amazing stuff and I think it is a sin to just let it collect dust...I need to start riding again. Oh yeah just talking about this has me feeling happy again. Looking forward to seeing everyone and hopefully many recognizable faces are still around the track.

Once you start up that nitro buggy and put it on the track everything will come back. Scr has a good amount of buggys nitro and electric. I myself have both and so do others. Hope to see you around
