To all racers that new my friend Jamie you guys can talk post pictures anything to do with the Rogers family that's good and positive we can post here just to let him know he still in our thoughts prayers as well as his son Ty and Melissa anything fun happy pictures let's show our love and support for our brother and to let him know he's always in our hearts are minds and our souls his spirit lives on with all of us.

to everybody I talked to Melissa today she read all you guys text your Facebooks her phone is literally blowed up what everybody caller she want me to let you guys know thank you for the prayers and thoughts and kind words they are now getting their heads together making plans to move forward and they want to let you all know thank you for the love you guys was sharing with them and support.

Wow , Jamie was a mentor for me from day one. Ty, Melissa.....my heart was shattered racing last weekend. He was an awesome guy, loved what he did with his son Ty. Ty, Melissa, be strong! My heart goes out to you guys! I'd like to pay my respects if you can post the details.

Had a great time at the wake seeing my bro one last time he looked great I wanna Thx Mitch for all he did for helping bath and just being there with ty an Melissa and everyone else Reggie aswell Martin u guys r awesome great seeing so many racers to come out even MS guys were there it was great J will always live on in us all

Hey guys. Flowood R/C (FRC) will be holding a benefit race on behalf of Jamie and the Rogers' family on April 11th, 12th and 13th: The Jamie Rogers Memorial Race. Friday will be practice, Saturday will be the qualifiers and Sunday will be the Mains. Entry fee is $40.00, $30.00 and $20.00. Awards will be given for TQ and 1st thru 5th. There will be two 7 minute qualifiers and are planning to be finished (qualifying) by 6:00pm Saturday night. The event will be catered, providing food to all of the racers and everyone in attendance. There will be a short presentation and show a video of Jamie's life. All of Ty’s sponsors have donated products that will be raffled off, with the proceeds going to the Ty Rogers' Race Fund. For those who have never been, FRC is an indoor R/C track, just outside of Jackson, MS. It is the nicest, indoor R/C racing facility here in the south. In addition to being an avid racer, Bubba Barham heads up FRC, providing an extremly fun environment to enjoy our hobby. Below is both the FRC website and the link to signup for this event, as well as the track's address and phone number. SCR will NOT be racing that weekend (April 12th and 13th) in honor of the Rogers' family and this event. Let's all get together to celebrate the life that Jamie brought to the track and the sport we all love.
