Hello all,

Haven't messed around with my RC's in about 10 years. Looking to buy a new rustler VXL with some Lipo's pretty soon and I wanted to break it in on the track. Just wanted to know when you guys normally race out there cuz I wanna get some practice time in since I'm sure I'll be pretty rusty. Also, If I do eventually become good enough to race, do you guys have a race class/club that the rustler would fit in??

Welcome, they race just about every weekend. It changes depending on weather conditions and the park scheduling. As far as the Traxxas Rustler its more of a basher. You would do better saving up for a Electric 1/8 buggy. There the most popular class and when your ready to race you have what you need. The shortcoarse class like the Traxxas 4wd slash 1/10 are popular locally one month and gone the next. Hope this helps
