Hey guys,
I made it out to the track Saturday...and I must say that after being out of the game for a few years, everything has come a looong way. Especially electrics.
So this got me thinking about an electric 1/8 buggy setup. Nitro is all I've ever had, but I thought I'd give electric a little consideration this time around.
RCtech has an overwhelming amount of information, so I just wanted to see what setups you all have found that work well? Motors/ESCs/Chargers/Power Supplies/Batteries
VE8 kit pretty good out of the box?

You need to get with Mario or Burk. They can guide you in the right direction.

Motors/ESCs/Chargers/Power Supplies/Batteries VE8 kit pretty good out of the box? If you're just getting into it I would suggest a mamba monster esc and their new 1800kv motor on 4s. Chargers I would go with a hyperion, ps I would check out the team checkpoint 25amp that tower sells...you can adjust the voltage up to 14.8 (your charger will charge your bats a little faster compaired to 12volts). and some hobby city packs (pay for ems shipping or it will be a while before you get your order). Their are better battery packs out there, but get the the cheap ones first since you may mess one up and you don't want to do that with a more expensive pack. here are some links. www.impaktrc.com/product_info.php?cPath=186_292&products_id=5369hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7386&Product_Name=GT_A-6-10_200W_Balance_charger_&_dischargerhobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10869 if youre going with a losi tray (not possible in the ve8) then there are lighter options. If you want to spend more money their are way more options. www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXWGU8&P=ML
