Who is interested in doing some 1/10th scale racing? I've been talking with Mario and we were thinking of racing 2wd superstock buggy (10.5 motor), 2wd superstock truck (10.5 motor) and 4wd open buggy (anything goes!!) on Thurs. nite or possibly Sun morning. What do you think?

When I get it I am down for the 2wd buggy class, that one should be light enough on my pocket.

2wd stock racing is inexpensive ( as far as rc investments go), easy to maintain and a challenge to drive. It should be a competitive class.

I'm totally down for some more 1/10 scale racing! I've had my eye on that Durango 410R for a while now. Not sure I will be able to do it though unless we can work it into our normal Saturday night racing. One stipulation of me being off on Saturdays to race is working on Sundays. Thursdays have also become spotty at best for me since I work until 7. I think if 1/10 scale racing is going to make it at FTR, we will need all hands on deck on whatever day we decide to race them.

Guys remember there are several different brands that sell 2wd buggy/truck and 4wd buggy. I just posted the AE cars because they are the most common.
My plans are to get the B4.1 , T4.1 , and D4 or 410r. One thing to keep in mind is if this is going to work 2 classes might be the max one person can enter per race. This will help use alot with marshalls until the number pick up.
PS. HollyWood what car are you getting?? I might wait so I can buy your one practice old stuff for cheap ;D

1/10 is like bleached cut-offs. every few years they come back in style. Glad I kept my T4 and B44. However they each have traxxas vxl motors, will that be legal?

So you're proposing killing TNT and making it a 1/10 race night? I not likey Aji, if the 1/10 takes off the race would start at 6:00PM an we should be finished by 8:00PM. 2 hours will be more than enough time. So there will be practice after this... I'm really glad you came out an said how you really fell about it. Most would just hold this in an go with the flow, but I like the racers true input. QUALIFIERS= 5mins each MAINS= 7mins each EXAMPLE2WD BUGGY QUAL 15MIN 2WD TRUCK QUAL 15MIN 4WD BUGGY QUAL 15MIN 15MIN BREAK 2WD BUGGY QUAL 25MIN 2WD TRUCK QUAL 25MIN 4WD BUGGY QUAL 25MIN 15MIN BREAK 2WD BUGGY AMAIN7MIN 2WD TRUCK AMAIN7MIN 4WD BUGGY AMAIN7MIN

LEGAL MOTORS ANY 10.5 MOTOR CASTLE (4600KV) TRAXXAS VXL MOTOR This is for the 2WD classes only.... 4WD is a OPEN class. My reason for allowing these other 2 motors is because I know there are some people that have them already from when we use to race 1/10. So if you don't have anything already, a 10.5 set-up would be the way to go

If it'd end at 8, that'd work out fine. I just don't want to lose TNT because I like being able to have a race like atmosphere but have it casual at the same time.
