Battle of the Tracks
RC Power Hobbies and SCR Raceway would like to invite you to join us in our First annual Ponchatrain Points Series, Battle of the tracks. This will be a 6 race series with 2 drops. Race days will be on Saturdays and start time will be 6p.m.
We will run 2 qualifiers and 1 main. Nitro mains will be 15 minutes, electric 8th scale mains will be 10 minutes and shortcourse mains will be 8 minutes. Classes will be Electric and Nitro Truggy and Buggy and 10th scale Open Shortcourse. Shortcourse trucks may have 2 cell lipo max, manufactured shortcourse chassis, and buggy tires are acceptable.
Entry fee will be $15 per class. Kids are welcomed and will have their own class if we have at least three. Kids will be awarded nightly and other classes (top 3 places in each class) will be awarded nice personalised trophies at the end of the series. Kids entry will be $5 or if the father enters two classes then their kids entry will be free.
We will also have a $10 a chance raffle on a Hyper10 SC shortcourse truck. Tickets will be sold throughtout the series and the truck will be given away at the final race. This will be a nonprofit raffle so any money collected over the price of the truck will either go to additional trucks to be given away or electronics for the one truck.(haven't decided yet)

Well after last night I guess it's time to cross that road. The first rainout was gonna be a mandatory drop but the powers that be at both tracks have decided to reschedule last nights race to this saturday the 18th at 2 pm. If you cant make it it's ok because it was gonna be a drop anyway. If you can the weather should be great so let's have a great turnout for the first race at RC Power! The rest of the schedule will remain the same. I look forward to seeing everyone at RCPower this saturday at 2!
