Hey Alan, I'm running a Losi 1/8 Truggy with a Tekin RX8 2250, 4S 6500 60c mahMax Amps. I'm not a 100% sure but I think Robert Auclair AKA (Half-Off) is running a RC8T with a Tekin RX8 2000 4S 5400-5600 mah Pro-tech & Reedy packs. The gearing is different between the two. In my experience in the past year and a half, is to pay the extra money for a great hard-case Max Amp battery & Hyperion dual charger. Your racing 8-10 minute runs you will never need more then 5400-6500 mah, if your geared right. The 4s 5000 is cutting it close for a 10 minute main, not to sure about the 5s battery. The majority of us are running 4S 5400-6500 mah. I hope this info helps you. Mamba Monster is a good esc also.
