In my line of work we learn basic tests to find out if some one is addicted to and/or abusing substances. Standardized Field Sobriety (SFST) = Alcohol Abuse 7 step Drug Abuse Recognition (DAR) test = Stimulants, Opiates, etc..
So I thought, like gambling issues, I would try to come up with a test or tests to find out if anyone is addicted to R/C..... telephone help line to come.
Instead of brushing your teeth before going to bed...you brush you teeth, then check the laracer forums before you go to bed?
Are your eyes blood shot from red or orange grit.
Do you have everything you need for R/C but are "feenin" for more.
Even though your R/C is not broken...your on amainhobbies looking for your next "fix"
With your hands strait out in front of you...does your steering hand fidget?
Do you find reasons to work on your R/C just to get some time away from the "other half"?
If at least two of these apply to you......we may need to get you some help.... but don't worry...your not alone.... tell your wife, girlfriend, or husband that you are addicted to R/C and you need to get some help. Then tell that person your going to a group meeting.
Meetings held at SCR race track every Wednesday at 7pm sharp....Bring your R/C Car.
