Track Closed for rut repair. If someone would not have run on it and rutted it up. I could have opened it for practice this evening or wednesday during the day. but now we have to repair it so now nobody can run. A sure sign that you going to rut a nice surface up is IF THERE IS STANDING WATER ON THE TRACK. DONT RUN ON IT.
Work starts at 2:30, anyone that wants to join Jonathan me is welcome to do so. All help is welcome.

the repairs will not be dry. I have to dampen the places where we put fresh dirt, then pack it. the moisture will go to the surface.
The outlook is back to 70% rain chance for wednesday night. Moisture in the air, even with no rain will not allow it to dry quick enough. I will update this page daily with track open or track closed.

TRACK CLOSED
Repairs went well yesterday. Was just Jonathan and I so we did not get all that I wanted to address done but track is in good to great shape for sunday. The repairs will need 2 full days minimum of no rain to be dry. We had to wet many areas for proper adhesion.
James and I will monitor it daily and I will open it as soon as I feel its ready.

Yes any help would be appreciated. We will have the track ready for Sunday. It will more than likely be closed until race time.

hey i would i love to come and help this saturday ima try my best to be there and if i come ill have a buddy with me too, id love to help because i know all the hard work yall put into the track and id like to try best to come and help because i appreciate the hard work yall put in so me and a buddy of mine will try our best to be there saturday

i was also wondering that for the race sunday will there be anytime to have some warmup laps before the race?

Yes, generally the track opens anytime in the am and shuts down 1 hour before race time for race prep. We will have to see how it dries from last nights rain if it will be open at all on saturday but I really doubt it.
As of right now the track is still closed.
