I checked it out today after work an it was in good shape. It was a little standing water in front of the feature, but the track looked really good.

We have a little extra dirt laying around in different places around the track. O think we need to gather it up and put it in front of the feature ramp so it doesn't hold so much water.

We will be at the track tomorrow to get some work done. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Our intentions are to clear some of the woods back to the propery line and to get the canopy moved. So get off you asses and come help, not watch, help! I plan to be there about 10am. If any one just happens to have some exterior grade 14/2 or heavier romex to get power to the new canopy location, we need it. About 20 feet should be enough. Don't forget your gloves!

About 80% of the woods are cleared. Tomorrow we will be bringing the dozer over from Ruston to push all the debris up to be loaded and cutting some drainage that will hopefully fix some of the water ponding. The canopy is moved to its new location and I plan to get it wired up tomorrow or next week.
We will still need some help tomorrow loading up the brush to get it hauled off.
If we have time we will take out the useless jump and spread it in front of the wood jump.
We still need to rake the entire track and fill some low spots so that when it rains next week everything will settle in good.
Come help please!!!
We will have a first class facility very soon! Come be a part of it.

Thanks to those of you who helped out today. We got alot done. We found out that Duct Tape's hands really will fit a shovel and that Dillard is allergic to one!
On another note, we need to all ante up to show our appreciation to Jerry who spent his Friday afternoon, all day Saturday, he will have to haul the dozer back to Ruston tommorow and drive the backhoe back to the shop. He didn't have to do it and we would not have gotten what we got accomplised this weekend without him.
I vote we all throw down a 10 or 20 to make it right so that we can do again sometime.
Also, we owe Steve Traxler Sr. a HUGE thank you for allowing us to use the equipment to make all this happen!
But don't forget, we have ALOT more to do to get our facility to where we all want it to be. We made a huge step today, but there's a few more HUGE steps to go!
Now go burn some nitro!
Peace!
