Need some help please.
I have a Turnigy 4.5 that I've run twice. After the second run the case was cracked open at the split between the 2 cases. I tried to charge but my charger says it doesn't see it connected to the balance connector.
Since the case was cracked open I looked inside to see if a wire came loose. Everything looks good and I even heated up the solder spots just to make sure there was no pocket of space under the solder point.
Has anyone had this problem before? Is the battery shot? What should I do?

Ok so I took a risk at starting a fire and forced it to charge with no balance connection. After about 2mins the balance showed up. All 4 cells are showing up. The big anomaly is that 1 of the 4 cells was a 1.0v while the others were at 4.0v. The 3 are holding at 4.0 while the 1.0v is going up fast to catch even. Any insight into why this happened or is happening or if this battery is on its last leg, would be great.

Sorry Trey I think one cell is bad that happen to mine before .it still may charge but cell will reach 4:20 before the three do.It should take a long time to charge. Ok guys... I know we went a tad off track from the post, but hey!... I got an answer from HAMMMER!!!!. I think you're right man. Its like either it works right or it doesn't and when it doesn't, you just wonder when you'll need one of the over priced piece of crap fire bags for your lipo charging. And... I know, you don't want to be the guy at the track with one of those.
