Just a "Heads up"
The weather is not looking favorable for this Saturdays series finale so here is the plan. We have put too much time into this race and the racers have put in too much money into the payouts to have a half-a$$ finale. As stated in the original post "If the finale rains out the make up date will be the following Saturday". It is too early to know wheather or not this Saturday will rain out so I am making this post just to give everyone a heads up on the situation. The call to cancell or not will not come until probably this Friday night. If this Saturday is a rainout then the reschedule date with bee the following Saturday the 11th. The 11th is a parade day so the start time will be bumped up to 11am so people can still make the evening parades if they want. If for some crazy chance the 11th rains out we will push the finalle to February the 25th at noon, which will be the weekend after Mardi Gras. As of now the race is ON for this Saturday.

OK after assessing the track this morning and looking at the forecast we have decided to postpone the finalle until February the 25th. SCR will be taking a break until then with the exception of our very important club meeting tuesday night. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Mardi Gras and we will see yall on the 25th.

Well gentlemen its almost that time. This Saturday is the grand finalle. 12 start time and registration will close at 11am SHARP. Any entry after 11am will be allowed to race but the entry fee will go solely to the track. We will have a lot of work to do in the can to get all of the payouts figured out, once that is done we will not be able to go back and change anything. Again don't forget that in addition to the payout, 1st place in sportsman buggy, shortcourse and by random drawing 3 entries will be given away to the Cajun Classic. Don't miss this race it is sure to be an awesome show! I can't wait to see the sportsman finalle this saturday. CROOKUGOTTHATVOICECHARGEDUPANDREADYTOGO??? We got our wireless mic back from repair and will be good to go for Saturday.
