what batteries is everyone running in 1/8th e buggy.Fixing to order some and don't know if i need to order 4s 5s or 6s.
Also i wanting to order the tekin rx8 but not sure which one to order when their available the 1900 or the 2050

Nick the most popular combo seems to be the 1900 on 4s

Hobbypartz.com Gen ace 4s 30c $54 I'm running the 2050kv on a castle ESC.. I haven't run it on the track yet, but from what I understand the 2050kv just turns about 200 more rpm on the top end.
I don't think it would be an advantage or disadvantage as you could just gear the 1900 or 2050 to turn about the same rpms. It probably wouldn't be obvious until your looking or maximum top speed then the 2050kv, but on the track I think it would be about the same.. But I could be wrong. That's of course when there geared to turn about the same rpm.
