To make it short.. the only time my SC or buggy are pulled out is to go to the track. I don't run any cars at home. So I want something to bash around with and that I could take around the track before and after races.
My thoughts were Nitro buggy associated rs rtr Axial exo terra
Then it hit me I have a tt-01 touring car/ drifter that hasn't been run in years!
So why not break it out some how convert it back into the rally car to match the original sabaru body..that's long gone now..
Any way I know some other guys in here have to have old touring cars.. So let's convert some into rally cars and run them at scr..
Sure you can't jump the big jump but everything else should be do able....
Only rules car has to start as a 1/10 touring, drift car and have a car body..
That's it cheap fun..the cheaper the better so what's up..I can have mine done in a few Weeks

That actually sound pretty cool. Guess its time for me to pull out my e10 and see what happens. Wouldn't know where to start with that conversion.

I'm going to look when I get how..thinking about buying some touring car yours and take an exacto to the tread ;D.. Buying some rallt style body. a cheap tacon motor 540 can don't need much for a touring car and some cheap esc.. Probably a hobby wing our something I have laying around.maybe a castle sidewinder.. Then for shocks I'll look..my goal its to spend less than $150 for everything..paint body, tires, motor, esc, ... Cheap fun, the cheaper the better.. The more innovative you are the better..
Then post up pictures of the build.. Motivate people

Jules, I have seen people use their SC trucks as rally cars before. Danny had a rally body on his with lights and Al from Adrenaline Hobby had rally bodies on their slashes. All you would need is the rally body and the rally tires/wheels.

Thats also a possibility.. Just figured the cars would handle much diffrent ;D
Plus for me the Sc10 4x4 can be a handful to setup.. so i wouldn't want to change it or bash it..lol
But I'd take this thing out at home and run it around the house and at the track.. Would care to much what happened to this one..
It be like the good Ol days of just driving for fun..

Hpi made a 1/10 scale rally car. This car had rally tires and longer shocks. You can still get the tires and the shocks. In fact I believe hobby towne in baton rouge may have the tires on stock. I had this rally car many years ago. They are fun. The shocks should bolt up to any touring car with little to no modification.
