Start time: 7p.m.
Entry fee will be $15/$10 for everyone. You may make an additional donation if you like. A representative from St. Charles Parish will be there to receive the entry money. He will then use the money to purchase toys. I believe their goal this year is to fill up two dump trucks with toys to deliver to Childrens Hospital.
This is the third year we are doing this race. Last year at the last minute we decided to give up the entry fees to the Childrens Hospital Toys For Tots. This year we are going to plan ahead to give them all of our entry money. This will be the normal, fun, club style race we have done for the past two years. I hope to see many of you there.

Ive got a baby due on the 17th so im pretty sure I will be changing diapers during this race. Have fun for me. Haha

Our next race is Wednesday night November the 21st at 7pm. Last year the club supplied Jambalaya, chips and drinks. This year we would like to do the same but also welcome racers to bring dishes as well. Pot Luck I think is what you call it. So if there is something you would like to bring just post up. Remember all entry money is going to pay for toys for Childrens Hospital.

OK guys, we had a great race and 67 entries yesterday at VLR. There is no reason we shouldn't have 75 plus for this awesome charity race. Lets get a roll call going here. If it looks like we will have an awesome turnout we are going to have this event catered. SCR will be spending money on supplying free food for this race and will be giving all of the entry money to buy toys for Childrens Hospital. Let's all come together and make this one awesome event. We will run all classes that show. Chad and several others have run 2wd 10th scale buggies on our track with no problem so bring em all and let's have a great time. There will not be a race next weekend so everyone will be ready for this race.

Just leaving from the track, great catching up with some old faces. I didn't get a chance to race, but I did donate for a great cause tonight and so did many others. Great turn out guys and gals. 3 heats of 1/8 scale Electric Buggy, come on how the times have changed. Lol
PS: Track looked great Big Alvin and SCR Crew.

I want to thank everyone who raced, donated, helped out, watered the track, blew the track, spectated, called races etc....... It truly shows that S.C.R. is a well oiled machine. I couldn't ask to be a part of a better club. I am glad we are in the position that we are in to be able to not only race, but be able to put on a race, give all the entry money away for a great cause and spend about $400 of our club money to provide food and drinks for our members that contribute all year. So my most sincerest THANK YOUS to everyone! Also thanks to Al at Adrenaline Hobby for sponsoring our kids class. It was nice for you to be there to hand out the awards that you provide. +1 Al. Great turnout. Generosity. Comradery. And some great racing. I'm proud to be a part of it. Thanks to you Al for all of the hard work you put in to provide us all a place like SCR. I've raced SCR since the mid 90's. It's never been better than it is now.
