Every time i tried the house transponders they failed during race so its wise to stay away from them.
Someone could count the laps for the youngster as a courtesy this time. Just an idea.

Just want to let everyone know that at our December club meeting we will be nominating club members to be the new board members. The nominees will be voted on at the January meeting, so if you think you can be an asset the the SCR club then come tell us in December. Anyone can be nominated. Also club membership will expire at the end of the year so get ready to join/rejoin come January.

MEETING INCENTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This time only. January the 11th. Anyone that makes it to this meeting the club will pick up the first $5 of your tab at Carsons!
Membership is open for 2011. The price remains the same $25 for a single membership and $40 for a family membership. Membership will have an extra advantage this year as well. Effective March 1st 2011 the price for the first entry for non members will go up to $15 and the second entry will remain $10. For all members the second entry will remain $5. Members first class will remain $10. Kids 12 and under will be $5
Hope to see as many people as possible at our January 11 meeting.

Very easy. Pass the track exit on I-310 from Lockport and continue to the next exit which is hwy 61. Go south and while you are exiting you will see Carsons on your right. Continue straight to the light and turn right. There will be a Racetrack station on your right. You will take another right immediately passed the gas station and Carsons wil be about 600 ft. down the road on your right. Look forward to meeting you there.

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!
Club meeting location and week have changed. Carsons is no longer doing dinner so our new meeting place will be
Palmetto's Restaurant
10405 Airline Hwy.
St. Rose, LA 70087
Meetings will now be the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the same time, 7pm.
Palmetto's is just about a mile past Carson's still on the right side. It is located in the St. Rose Travel Center.
Our first meeting there will be next Tuesday February the 8th at 7pm.
Hope to see many of you there.
Also, there menu is similar to that of Carson's. Daily specials, gumbo, po-boys etc....

Race still on for this Sunday at noon! Weather will be awesome!
We will have a work meet this Saturday at 9am. We will hang railings on driver stand, install cable across parking lot opening, and do some organizing in the can.
People commited to working are Mike, Alvin, Chris, Eric, Kevin P., James, Vito, and vito. Anyone else that can make it please post up and show your support.
Our new closed sign will be ordered as soon as I get the new quote tomorrow.
Also SCR will be selling advertising for $150.00 per spot. The banners will be hung on the fence around the track and are good for one year from date hung. More info to come.
Thanks to everyone that came tonight and for being a part of the new SCR.
