Both my kids have activities they must attend tonight, so I'll be missing another meeting. Tuesday nights just aren't good for me.
I would like to comment on a few things that need to be addressed at the meeting:
Our kids come first - if you don't have kids, then maybe you can relate to being a kid at one time. A track will not last with members who think they are more important than the kids who can't drive as good as them.
Anyone who has the nerve to tell a kid he can't race because he is too slow needs to go find a heart and soul. Sportsman class is for rookies. If there was a kids class, he would race in that.
More kids would be racing if racers had better attitudes towards them. Without a doubt I feel the pressure. Some secretly wish I didn't bring my kid back to the track. Those are the ones who should go take a hard look in the mirror.

I had bad experiences when my son was young and racing.I agree with both you guys.Maybe consider having a kid only class. The problem in the past was to many different types of vehicles.Example the truggies ran over the smaller cars.Just a thought.

Running over smaller cars sounds fun to me!! I think the power should be limited. especially if its a mix of cars. The slash 4x4 would be good, and in training mode which is 50% power. Then when they are older and prove themselves they could race in the adult corr class. A ready to run slash is $400 and most people have chargers and extra batterys. P.S. AL, I need 5% of all future slash sales. Kthxbye

I brought my son to the track last friday and let him run a bit. He since has been beggin me to go back. Since school is gettin ready to start I think I will start bringin him to race at our saturday night races. I guess if we don't have enough for a kids class he can just run in shortcourse. I am sure this will be discussed tonight in our meeting.

a lot info were discuss at the meeting next time try to make it if you can that way you can put your input to improve this club. I meet a father and son tonight at the track and they are planning on coming to race tomorrow night, they just got their truck "slash" and they are exicited about racing tomorrow, can someone open the can tomorrow as soon as they get there tomorrow so that the track transponders can be charge, if not let me have a key and I'll go open the can in the morning so this people can race tomorrow cause they don't have a personal transponder..............

Edgardo,
I understand that you are trying to push for the use of the house transponders. But miscommunication is not the way to go. Most of the people agree that house transponders are out of date and not realiable, it is not a problem of just charge them, in fact they are now plug at all time 24/7, and still we have issues and a lot of down time every time we use them. Please don't post something contrary to what was agree onto at the club meeting. Let's proposed running them on saturday races, maybe, i don't know, but let's follow the club decisions and in the next oportunity bring up again and see what we come up with.
Thanks, Alejandro.

Alex is right it was voted by the members to phase out the transponders starting August 1, 2010. Remember guys club members and only club members have the right to vote.
