We have a very important club meeting this coming Tuesday night December the 6th at 7pm. We will nominate people to be on the 2012 board. We will pick the club t-shirt colors, and we will decide on "club race" days and times for the next 2 months while the weather is cold. If you have never been to a club meeting or it has been a while, please make arrangements to be at this one. It is held at the O'Henry's restaurant on Veterans Blvd. in Kenner. This is not some crazy formal meeting. We hang out, eat and drink, and discuss some club business. It is a great time for everyone to just hang out and relax.

Forgot to post after the last meeting that the nominees for the board for 2012 are as follows
President- Alvin Smith
Vice President- Jim Brown
Treasurer- Chris Cantrell
Track Director- Cliff Guillot
These positions will be voted on by the members in the January 2012 meeting. We will also vote to make an ammendment to the by laws adding the Track Director position. This is a position that we have had for the past year and it has worked like a charm. We would just like to make it official.

We also voted to make an amendment to the By Laws making the Track Director an official Board Member position. Duties have been added to the By Laws and are as follows.....
4.Track Director
a)In charge of scheduling work days.
b)Will have a pre-determined agenda for each worday.
c)Assigns task to volunteer members on workdays.
d)Any and all track changes/improvements to be communicated thru the track director prior to the scheduled workday.
e)Track Director is to communicate all changes/improvements with the President before doing so.
We all look forward to another successful and fun year of R/C racing in Southern Louisiana!!!!!!!!!

FYI the next club meeting is next Tuesday night February the 7th at 7pm. Ohenrys on Vets as usual. There will be much discussion about the plans for the new can and drivers stand. So if you want to be a part of the expansion come join us.

Kids are welcome as long as they dont cause too much rukus. It is a meeting and work does have to get accomplished. It's really up to you to decide. We have had kids before that can behave. I personally don't bring my son.
