What about a Kids class? I see your 12 and under is limited to 10th scale vehicles. Many of our Kids are running buggy and truggy.

We have added a Stock SCT 13.5 class to the lineup. This will be a 13.5 motor, ESC must be in blinky mode only, and you can run any SCT tire.

Alvin, sorry I am just getting back to you on your question. As of now there will not be a kids class for 1/8th scale. If they are running a buggy then there will be the sportsman class that they can run in. Although we are only running one class of Truggy, they are still welcome to run with those guys as well.

I was un-aware of a memorial race this weekend. Where is it? I have been out of town every weekend for the last month so I haven't been at the track since the Bring the Heat. My wife is due to have our son in September and we have a baby shower tomorrow from 2-4pm. Can you send me some info on this so I can be sure the locals here are aware of it? They may already be aware of it but I'm not sure since I haven't been there. If you need to email it you can send it to matt@flowoodrc.com

I know the 2 trips we made to the Flowood track in the past month the flyers were up. I believe Mitch hung them there at the "Bring The Heat Race" if Im not mistaken.

Matt if you check the link I posted in the first entry there are phone numbers for Mitch and Jessica, I am sure they would appreciate anything. With that being said here comes my feelings and only mine so feel free to direct any comments straight to me. There was 84 entries at this race and as far as I know, not one from Flowood RC, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Flyers have been posted for this race at Flowood since bring the Heat race, and personally I believe just about anyone could have scheduled themselves to be at the race or at the very least send some well wishes. I have known Mitch for a while and I know he has been supporting Flowood rc races since it was the orginal track, and not one person shows.... At the last race we attended at Flowood Mitch took it upon hisself to come get me when Bubba was setting up the mains and had every class running Triple A-Mains and did not know how to fix the setup. I went up there to help resolve it and did not even come away with a thank you. I am a big boy, I dont need a pat on the back everytime I do some thing but this is just one more example of Flowood RC being only about Flowood RC. I always hear there just arent many racers around Flowood RC to help it grow and prosper and that La racers are so appreciated for their support, but consistently I see it is a one way streak. With all that said I think I will keep my rc money on the south side of the MS state line. I realize my entry will not make are break Flowood RC in the least, but I do sleep well knowing where and when I support my firends in the rc community. Thanks, Chris
