I just want to bring up this point. You say 8th and 10th kids dont mix? Do 3yr olds and 12yr olds mix? The answer is yes. Here is a fyi for ya. Our charity race had 13 kids running all vehicles nitro and electric. Wanna know who won? A 10yr old boy driving a traxxas slash 4x4 with the center slipper clutch. Go ask any kid there if they had a problem with the mixed class or if they had a problem all winning medals. I dont even know why we are discussing what obviously works. If yall dont understand then yall can figure it out yourselves.

my son kody run nitro 8th scale buggy and he's pretty fast and i don't recall him ever winning at FRC he always got beat by a corr truck. i started him out i wouldn't give him a transponder bc i didn't think winning is what it is about its having fun. i get my head kicked in all the time by the big dogs down here, but i watch myself grow and progress. and love hangout with good people helping one another the kids need to just have fun. kody ran alabama shootout finished 7th out of 15 in E main before he went up to race grown men i told him first thing first remember have fun because he thinks im going to mad, but told he to do his best and he ran 20mins finished 7th and was smiling the rest of the weekend

"Change is coming" is a direct quote from our president. I wonder if they started chanting "yes we can" at the meeting? I guarantee if ya boy Bush ran FLR it would take more than a nine man committee to pull it out of the sewer HE put it in.. The support thing is real simple to me. If our racers support your place your racers should support our place. Even if 1 of your 15 guys show up, but that hasn't even happened! I know I'm beating a dead drum here, but that is what it all boils down to.. Oh and the kids class thing.. Everyone at FLR has treated me with the highest level of respect and I've always had a great time racing there. I'm sure some of your guys will start showing up at our races in the near future and all will be back to normal. If not, then I'm sure we as a group will be racing at FLR a lot less frequent. Reggie, I think it's a horse you want.... I don't think a drum can die ;D  |

My theory is support the people that support you. Thats pretty simple. As far as the kids class if the 1/10 and 1/8 is an issue(which it really hasnt been around here over the last few years) then run separate kids classes. The kids who are running 1/8s are not tuned to kill and electrics are turned down. If theres not 8 entries who cares?? Lets say there are six kids and not enough to race, so they stay home and their parent doesnt come, thats 12 entries not to mention that most people race more than one class. So now that "Bob" isnt going to go since his kids cant race then that means that "Bill" and "Will" are not going to go either. Republican or Democrat, its easy to see that it doesnt make much sense especially when your club races are only having 15 entries... Just saying.

I see this will go on forever. It's no surprise I'm in the minority here it's also know surprise that u would think Aids epidemic originated in LA..lol. And how much did u pay in taxes last year? I don't give a rats azz about most of it. No one made me go to Flowood. I just think the facility/people are great, just like many of our local facility. You have to admit the Indoor is a added bonus when we know it rained all week down here at home. I think with a few phone calls and a game plan we will still be able to bring a large crowd with us next time we go Mark. I know a few electric guys that will still go. |

@ Billy & Mark I think yall missed the point on this one. No body said anyone had to go to frc nor did anyone say dont go to frc. If yall wanna go then you do what you please. Some of us simply expressed our concerns with frc not supporting laracers at all and are tired of supporting them. I agree with you on the point that if we rain out and want to race then they are a great option to get our fix which is exactly how I have treated them. I have never gone there on a day when our tracks were open nor will I ever abandon our track on a sunny day to go race there. Take this race for example, it is scheduled on a Saturday which is SCRs scheduled club race day, therefore if it is not raining here I can guarantee you wont see me there because I have an obligation to SCR. If the electric guys go then so be it, life goes on. Some people just have more pride in their team thats all. Team Louisiana! As Darryl would say "Let's race!"  |

One more last thing, if yall are calling bringing a presidential debate in this rc thread bullshlt then I agree but if you are calling bullshlt on your fellow racers for expressing thir honest opinion thin I call bullshlt on that.
