I have had some PM's about the power outage during the Open Truggy A-main so Im going to address this now to clear it up. We will NOT let anyone on the D-Booth tower next year. Ill tell you what happened on that instance on the power. We had someone come up top and stepped on the power strip which cut all power to everything in the booth. It was instantly caught and corrected. Even though all power was cut back on instantly, it takes the computer time to reboot. Paul,Jeff and myself made the decision to restart the race. I know these restarts affect racers, sometimes for the better, sometmes for the worse. But we had no choice. It will be addressed next year. I would rather stop the race 10min in and inform you guys of the problem than after 45min and ya'll had no clue. Would it have worked itself out?.....maybe,maybe not. We couldnt take that chance. Thus, we called a restart. I will take some responsibility for this also...If I would have secured the power strip to something or even had it off of the floor,it would have never happened. The D-Booth setup up was my responsiblilty.I learned a lesson to say the least. I appreciate everyones understanding.
NOTE....Dont ask who did it.....It will NEVER be told. It was a pure accident by a top notch guy.

Hollywood
I think that was the worst thing that happened all weekend, keep in mind it was an accident. I would say you guys handled the best way possible. I did not hear one complaint all weekend. You guys ran a top notch race. Keep up the great work and look forward to next year!!!
