Alright guys. After a scheduling conflict for some of the Texas racers and talking to the Ike we have changed the dates of the 2011 Southern Nationals. The Ike had someone tentatively scheduled for the new weekend but they have agreed to make the change. The new dates will be Oct. 21-23. The weather will be nicer then anyway even though the arena is air conditioned. The pit area will be much more pleasant. As soon as the flier is complete, I will post on rcsignup.com. See you guys soon!

That will also be the last day to recieve a refund. Looking foward to another awesome race and hanging out with you guys! I also wanted to take another opportunity to tell you guys, the racers,THANKS for the support last year. You guys did a great job with everything from racer responsibilties to house keeping. Also, RV slots and pit stalls are the same as last year.Except for the RV slots are $30 per night this year.(they went up on us).Again these RV slots are full service. Pit stall are $10 per day. There are plenty of both, but they are first come first serve. Basically, sooner you pay for one the closer you are. As last year, each pit stall will come with that horse crap flavored air freshener . RV slots - $30 per day Pit stalls - $10 per day

I am noticing that some of you are registering the same car in your rcsignup profile for two or more different classes. This causes somewhat of a problem because it shows the same transponder number for both classes. This will cause confusion come race day when the heats are posted and we have to do a bunch of number changing. Please address this when you get a chance so that we can eliminate any delays this may incur. Also, make sure your T-shirt size is correct in your profile. Thanks for your cooperation!

Wow! Over 100 entries within 48 hours of posting. Thanks for the support! The Texas racer response is overwhelming! You Louisiana boys better get in while you can. More news to come next week on some sweet pit area offers. Remember to get paid ASAP to be eligible for those offers. Stay Tuned!!
